ISLAMABAD, Jul 26 (APP):Pakistan Muslim League-N candidate Chaudhry Waqar Ahmed Cheema has won election from Punjab Assembly constituency PK-59, Gujranwala-IX by securing 40,046 votes. According to unofficial results announced by Election Commission, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf candidate Suhail Zafar Cheema stood second by getting 20,482 votes while Independent Candidate Nisar Iqbal grabbed third position by securing 16,483 votes. Voter turnout was recorded at 53.21%.
PML-N’s Ch. Waqar wins PP-59 election
