PML-N victory in July 21 elections to bring progress, prosperity in AJK: Kirmani

CHARHOI (Kotli), July 14 (APP): Advisor to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs Dr Asif Kirmani Thursday said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s victory in AJK elections on July 21 was critical to send a strong message across the Line of Control.

Addressing a large public gathering here, he said the victory
of PML-N would be the victory of AJK masses as it would bring progress and prosperity in the state.

It would also secure the future of the new generation and bring investment in the state, he added.

Kirmani said the PML-N’s mission was to secure future of the people of Kashmir and open doors of progress and development for them. For  the achievement of these goals, the AJK masses would vote for the PML-N in next week’s elections, he added.

Kirmani said he was sure of the victory of Pakistan Muslim
League-Nawaz (PML-N) in the AJK Legislative Assembly elections because of commitment and passion of party workers.

He appreciated PML-N leader Naeem Munsif Dad who had
withdrawn from the electoral race and announced to support the party’s nominated candidate.

He said that it was the hallmark of the PML-N workers to
accept the decisions of the party leadership. He said those party workers who could not be given party tickets for the July 21 election would be accommodated by the party in future.

He said that on the directives of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif
condemnation day would be observed on Friday against the killing of innocent Kashmiris by Indian troops in IOK. He said that savage Indian army had martyred over 40 innocent Kashmiris including Burhan Wani only because they were demanding right to self-determination.

He said India could not suppress Kashmiri masses for long and time would come when a Kohala like bridge would be built to link occupied Kashmir with AJK.

He said the PPP government in AJK was corrupt, incompetent which had plundered over Rs 300 billion funds given by the federal government.

He said that the present AJK government was not only corrupt but it had stained its hands with the blood of innocent.

He said Indian troops martyred Kashmiris in Indian Occupied
Kashmir and on the same day Abdul Majeed government killed two PML-N workers and injured one of its candidates. He said there was no difference between the two as both India and Abdul Majeed were killers of innocent people.

Kirmani said time had come to avenge the killing of the
PML-N workers but Nawaz Sharif believed in progress, development and peace. So the voters of Kashmir would avenge the blood of the PML-N workers by giving landslide victory to the party on the election day .

He said corruption, loot, plunder, inefficiency and now killings
were the hallmark of the Majeed government while development projects including motorways, expressways, nuclear tests and J-7 Thunder planes were taht of the PML-N government.

He lamented that when the PML-N leaders highlighted the loot and plunder of the PPP government in AJK, they used derogatory language.

Referring to a statement of PTI leader Barrister Sultan, he
said he has issued the provocative statement about attacking federal ministers on the directives of Imran Khan, who was against  the development of Pakistan.

He appealed to the AJK administration and AJK Chief Election
Commissioner to take notice of Barrister Sultan’s statement.
He asked party workers to be fearless and vote for PML-N on July 21 as it would change the destiny of the people of the state.
