ISLAMABAD July 14 (APP): Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Asif Saeed Kirmani on Thursday said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz is standing by people in occupied Kashmir in this hour of turmoil and will observe Condemnation Day on Friday to express solidarity with them.

“PML-N announced to observe the Condemnation day prior to any other party, on the directions of the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif,” he said speaking in a private news channel program.

He Kirmani rejected the notion that response of the
government was sluggish and said, the Prime Minister had directed on Wednesday to observe Friday as Condemnation Day against Indian barbarianism in occupied Kashmir.

Answering a question, he said, the PML-N was peacefully
running its election campaign in Azad Kashmir in light of the
Prime Minister’s vision of progress and prosperity but its workers and candidates were attacked by the activists supported by the PPP led AJK government.

He said media reports are evident that as to who has been
threatening our party workers and the ministers and who attacked our candidates.

“One of our candidate Mushtaq Minhas was attacked while
another candidate was injured and two workers were killed. Even, the AJK government has not yet registered FIR in the Nakiyal firing case,” he added.

Maulana Tahir Ashrafi also reiterated resolve to stand by
Kashmiri brethren who are waging struggle for emancipation from Indian yoke in occupied Kashmir.

He hoped that freedom struggle would reach its ultimate
ending and Kashmiri will be successful in getting their just right to self-determination.

He called upon international community to take cognizance of the brutalities of Indian forces and shun double standards.

“They cannot close their eyes to Indian brutalities against
innocent Kashmiris. International community and the United Nations will have to honor their commitment made to Kashmiri people,” He added.
