PML-N spokespersons brazenly defending their leadership’s corruption: Firdous

ISLAMABAD, Dec 23 (APP):Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan Monday said the way the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) spokespersons were brazenly defending the corruption of their leadership was shameful.
Dr Firdous, in a series of tweets, said the ‘wrongdoings’ done by the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leadership were now surfacing (before the nation). Those, who had plundered the nation’s wealth, were nearing to their end, she added.
She said Prime Minister Imran Khan had empowered the institutions freeing them from the clutches of the mighty and powerful, which was pinching the PML-N leadership as they were now forced to face the law for their bad acts.
The special assistant said the prime minister was continuing his crusade against corruption with full might. The entire nation were well aware of those who had ruthlessly looted national kitty and they could not be misled by the baseless propaganda.
She said the people, who were making a hue and cry over the foreign funding case were those whose kith and kins were abroad with their bank accounts there.
Surprisingly, they themselves were lingering on their foreign funding cases by not submitting replies and seeking adjournments from the Election Commission of Pakistan.
What answer PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal would give to the queries of National Accountability Bureau as he was unable to respond to the five questions asked by Minister for Communications Murad Saeed, she added.
