PML-N leadership consulting for senate chairman: Musadik

ISLAMABAD, Mar 6 (APP):Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Media Affairs Dr Musadik Malik Tuesday said Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) had emerged as major political party in the senate and its leadership was consulting for the chairman of the upper house.
Talking to a private news channel, he said Muhammad Nawaz Sharif was the most popular political figure in the country and no body could remove his love from the hearts of people.
He said people were giving warm welcome to their beloved leader all over the country including Khyber Pakhtunkhawa, adding people were supporting the narrative of former prime minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and their participation in the political gatherings of the PML-N was proof of the fact.
He said the PML-N was winning all by elections in the country and people had great affiliations with Nawaz Sharif.
He said the PML-N leadership did not believe in corruption and not a single case was prove against them, Nawaz Sharif was disqualified on having an Iqama but not on corruption charges, he added.
Replying to a question, he said dictators had introduced some amendments in the constitution for their personal objectives but democratic governments had restored the constitution in its real shape.
Dr Musadik said all political parties should learn from the past mistakes and move forward positively and work for the betterment of the country.
