RAJANPUR, May 30 (APP)::Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad
Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday said that Pakistan Muslim League-N
was in favour of South Punjab province and the government had
already passed a resolution in this regard from provincial
assembly.
He said this while talking to the media here after
inaugurating CT scan, Gynae ward and some other modern
diagnostics facilities here at District Headquarters hospital.
He said the government had spent 42 to 45 percent resources
in South Punjab against its population ratio of 31 percent.
Shehbaz Sharif said, if people would give PML-N another
chance by electing them again in upcoming general elections 2018,
then journey towards progress and prosperity would continue
with a great pace.
He hoped that the country would be at top in terms of
provision of education, healthcare and other infrastructure to
citizens as compared to neighbouring countries of the region.
He said that Punjab generated over 5,000 MW electricity
during last five years and also added it to national grid.
The CM said that the DHQ hospital of Rajanpur was matching
with any quality hospital of Europe where all modern facilities
including CT scan, X-ray and quality medicines were available
for citizens without any discrimination.
Responding to a question about caretaker setup in centre and
province, he stated that both nominated caretaker prime minister
and caretaker chief minister enjoyed good repute and hoped that
they would perform their responsibility with commitment and hold
fair, free and transparent elections.
