PML-N AJK protests against Indian atrocities on innocent Kashmiris
Failing Indian narratives in Held Kashmir

LAHORE, July 15 (APP): Pakistan Muslim League-N Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and Global Alliance for Kashmir staged a demonstration at the Lahore Press Club here on Friday to express solidarity with Kashmiris and condemn Indian brutalities in held Kashmir.

The protesters carrying banners and placards chanted slogans against New Delhi, calling for immediate halt to high-handedness against innocent Kashmiris.

Addressing the participants, PML-N AJK Women Wing General Secretary Dr Farzana Nazir, MPA, Vice-President Ms Parveen, Ghulam Abbas Mir, PML-N candidate for LA-37 Valley-II Lahore seat, Dr Rauf, said that a ‘Condemnation Day’ was being observed across Pakistan against Indian atrocities in occupied territory and to express solidarity with the Kashmiri people struggling for their right to self-determination.

They said innocent Kashmiris were being subjected to the worst brutalities by the Indian occupational forces. They said the PML-N government was highlighting the Kashmir issue at all international fora. They said that Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, during his recent address to the United Nations Security Council, openly opposed the
Indian forces brutalities in held Valley and presented bold stand of Pakistan on Kashmir.

The speakers urged the international community to take stock of the situation, arising out of the killing of key Kashmiri leaders and innocent citizens at the hands of the Indian armed forces.

They also called for resolving the lingering issue of Kashmir in
accordance with the resolutions of UN Security Council, saying the credibility of the global organisation would be at stake if it failed to implement its own resolutions.
