PMDC reschedules NRE Step-I exam to Nov 8

The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC) has rescheduled the National Registration Examination (NRE) Step-I, earlier scheduled for October 11, 2026, to November 8, 2026 (Sunday) due to unavoidable circumstances.

ISLAMABAD, Oct 05 (APP): The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC) has rescheduled the National Registration Examination (NRE) Step-I, earlier scheduled for October 11, 2026, to November 8, 2026 (Sunday) due to unavoidable circumstances.
According to a notification issued by the Examination Department of PM&DC, the revised date will apply to candidates appearing in the NRE Step-I examination.
The NRE is conducted by PM&DC as part of the registration process for Pakistani medical and dental graduates who have obtained their qualifications from institutions outside Pakistan.
The examination is intended to assess candidates against the required standards of medical and dental knowledge and competency before they proceed through the relevant registration requirements.
Candidates have been advised to take note of the revised examination date and follow further instructions issued by PM&DC regarding the examination.
