BEIJING, Sep 3 (APP): Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday telephoned Chief Minister Balochistan Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti to express deep sorrow over the tragic blast that struck a political rally in Quetta, claiming multiple lives and injuring several others.
The prime minister, who is currently on his official visit to China, strongly condemned the blast and conveyed deep grief over the loss of precious lives in the blast. He also prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.
“The terrorists involved in the blast will be traced and given exemplary punishment,” the prime minister pledged.
He said the attack on the political rally was clear evidence of the nefarious conspiracy by terrorists to spread chaos in Balochistan.
“Terrorists are enemies of peace and development in Balochistan,” the prime minister said vowing to continue war against terrorism until complete eradication of this menace from the country.
