PM struggling to make Pakistan Asian Tiger: Governor Punjab

FAISALABAD, Nov 16 (APP): Punjab Governor Muhammad Rafiq Rajwana
said on Monday that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was making all-out
efforts to make Pakistan ‘Asian Tiger’.
Addressing the ground breaking ceremony of Gojra-Shorkot second of M-4 (Faisalabad-Multan) Motorway at Gojra, he said the Prime Minister had a clear-cut vision and agenda to make Pakistan strong by launching mega development projects. He said, in just two months, foundation stones of 4 projects including Bhikki, Havelian Bahadur Shah, Balloki
Power Project were laid down while ground breaking ceremony of Gojra-Shorkot Motorway was performed which speaks the PM’s keen
interest in putting Pakistan on road to progress and prosperity.
The governor said that with the success of Zarb-e-Azb operation
and bringing law and order situation under control in Karachi, the
image of Pakistan had improved.
Lights of Karachi had been restored, he said and added that
investors of Karachi who settled in Dubai due to worst law and
order situation had come back and were taking keen interest in
the development of Pakistan.
He said that PM’s vision to make the country prosperous by
setting up chain of motorways and linking all cities with each
other would have far-reaching effects to bring revolution in the
country.
He hoped the government would also accelerate the process
of completion of motorway from Shorkot to Khanewal.
The Punjab Governor lauded the PM’s vision for up-grading
the infrastructure in the communication sector, adding that it
would go a long way to put the country on right direction.
