PM strongly condemns terrorist attack on police check post in Hangu

ISLAMABAD, Jul 30 (APP): Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday strongly condemned the terrorist attack carried out by Fitna al-Khawarij terrorists on a police check post in Hangu district.
The prime minister expressed deep sorrow over the martyrdom of nine police personnel, including Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Diyar Khan, in the attack.
He prayed for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs in Jannah and extended his heartfelt condolences to their bereaved families, praying that they be granted courage to bear the loss with patience.
The prime minister also prayed for the early recovery of those injured in the attack.
He commended the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police for their swift response, which resulted in the killing of 15 Fitna al-Khawarij terrorists.
“The police have always served as the frontline force in the fight against terrorism,” the prime minister said.
He also expressed resolve to remain committed to completely uproot terrorism in all its forms from the country.
