JEDDAH, Mar 13 (APP): Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif departed here for Pakistan late Thursday night after holding important discussions with Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on the recent regional developments.

At the Royal Terminal of Jeddah International Airport, the prime minister was seen off by Deputy Governor of the Makkah Region, Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Riyadh Ahmed Farooq, Consul General of Pakistan in Jeddah Syed Mustafa Rabbani, and other members of the diplomatic staff.

The prime minister undertook the daylong visit to the Kingdom at the invitation of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

During his brief stay here, the prime minister expressed Pakistan’s full solidarity and support for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in these challenging times.

He also assured the Saudi crown prince that Pakistan would always stand firmly with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and strive for their mutual desire for peace in the region.
