ISLAMABAD, Jan 08 (APP):Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif Thursday congratulated Pakistan Cricket Board on the success of the auction phase of teams for Pakistan Super League.
In a statement, he appreciated the efforts of Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board Mohsin Raza Naqvi and his team involved in organizing PSL.
He said, “By the grace of Allah, the glory of sports has been restored in the country.”
“With time, with the grace of Allah, PSL has become the top among the major leagues in the region,” he said adding, “The auction of two new teams in PSL is an important milestone for the promotion of cricket in the country. The inclusion of two new teams has breathed a new life into the Super League.”
He said, “Foreign investment in new teams is a clear proof of the popularity and success of Pakistan Super League at the international level.”
“Cricket fans will enjoy the games of Pakistan Super League this year and new and young talent will get an opportunity,” he added.
