PM praises security forces for thwarting Afghan Taliban attack in Kurram sector

ISLAMABAD, Oct 15 (APP): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday expressed concern over provocations by the Afghan Taliban, Fitna-al-Hindustan, and Fitna-al-Khawarij at the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.

The prime minister, in a statement, paid tribute to the security forces for thwarting the attack by the Afghan Taliban in Kurram sector.

He said that the Pakistan Army gave a befitting response to the Afghan Taliban’s unprovoked aggression.

“The use of Afghan soil for terrorist incidents in Pakistan is highly condemnable,” he said and reiterated the country’s resolve to defend its security.
