ISLAMABAD, Jul 18 (APP): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday expressed his pleasure as the first batch of around 300 Pakistani agriculture graduates completed their hands-on practical training in China.
“Very heartening to know that the first batch of around 300 Pakistani agriculture graduates have successfully completed their hands-on practical training in Shaanxi Province, China,” the prime minister wrote on his X timeline.
He said that the Pakistani graduates had completed their training in important areas, including water-saving irrigation, seed production, animal husbandry, agriculture production and prevention of post-harvest losses.
He thanked the Chinese leadership, Shaanxi Government and the two universities for their support and cooperation.
The prime minister also appreciated the Ministry of National Food Security, Higher Education Commission, and the Embassy of Pakistan in Beijing for their hard work in ensuring the success of this initiative.
This batch is part of the 1,000 Pakistani agriculture graduates training initiative that Prime Minister Shehbaz had announced during his visit to China in June 2024.
