LAHORE, Oct 01 (APP): Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz
Sharif has forcefully pleaded the case of oppressed Kashmiri
people at the UN General Assembly which has given a new life to the Kashmir cause.

These views were expressed by Nazaria i Pakistan Trust
Chairman and former president Muhammad Rafique Tarar in his message on a special sitting commemorating the former Punjab chief minister the late Ghulam Haider Wyne on his 23rd death anniversary, here on Saturday.

The Pak Army, with the entire nation on its back, has the
capability of giving a befitting response to anyone who dares cast an evil eye on Pakistan, Tarar said.

Other speakers said Wyne was a true follower of
Quaid i Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah as far as his national,
political and educational services are concerned.

“He established dozens of institutions for the education
and training of the new generation with the ultimate goal of overall welfare and development of the Pakistani nation.”

Professor Dr Rafique Ahmad observed that the deceased must be taken as a model by the politicians of today. He performed his duties in a small office as the Punjab chief minister. He established 25/30 institutions to improve the lot of common people. His services must be celebrated and recorded in books, he said.

Begum Majida Wyne observed that her husband worked day
and night to strengthen Pakistan, for which our ancestors had rendered supreme sacrifices. The Muslim League must be strengthened by following the deceased’s style of work, she said.
