ISLAMABAD Dec 10 (APP): Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on Thursday nominated provincial president of Pakistan Muslim League, Nawab Sana Ullah Zehri as next Chief Minister of Balochistan.
The decision has been taken by the Prime Minister in light of the Murree Declaration and after consulting his allies, a statement from the PM House said. The Prime Minister said Balochistan was close to his heart and expressed the hope that the new Chief Minister would ensure peace and security in the province.
He said the federal government would extend full support to him in the progress and development of Balochistan. The meeting held at the PM House in this regard was attended
by Mahmood Khan Achakzai, Minister for Finance Muhammad Ishaq Dar,Minister for Interior Ch Nisar Ali Khan, Minister for Railways Kh.
Saad Rafique, Minister for Information Pervaiz Rashid, CM Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, CM Balochistan Dr Abdul Malik Baloch and Senator Hasil Khan Bizenjo.
Later, Lt Gen (Retd) Abdul Qadir Baloch, Minister for SAFRON and Sardar Sanaullah Zehri also met the Prime Minister.
