ISLAMABAD, Sept 21 (APP): Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) President Masood Khan Wednesday said Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif fully represented the Kashmiri people and forcefully pleaded their case for right to self determination in his speech at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
Talking to PTV, he said the prime minister highlighted
Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir.
The Kashmir issue, he said, was the main reason of tension
between Pakistan and India, therefore the Prime Minister emphasized in his speech to resolve it as per wishes of the Kashmiri people and according to United Nations resolutions.
Masood Khan said the prime minister’s speech would have
a positive impact as it was keenly listened to by the people
of Jammu and Kashmir and Pakistan.
