LAHORE, Dec 25 (APP): Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday left for New Delhi after a brief stopover in Lahore to meet Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif at the latter’s residence.
Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif saw off his Indian counterpart here at the Allama Iqbal International Airport.
Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Federal Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar and senior government functionaries were also present to bid farewell to the Indian leader.
Indian Premier Narendra Modi waved warmly to his Pakistani hosts before entering the plane to return to the Indian capital.
