PM meets with MNAs, reiterates commitment to sustainable economic growth

ISLAMABAD, Jun 13 (APP): Members of the National Assembly Abrar Shah, Samina Khalid, Shahida Rehman, Jamal Shah Kakar, Khurram Shahzad, Sardar Yaqub Khan Nasar, Major (R) Tahir Iqbal and Mian Khan Bugti held separate meetings with Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif here on Saturday.
Members of the National Assembly appreciated the Prime Minister’s leadership for presenting a balanced and people-friendly budget.
The Prime Minister reiterated commitment to transform economic stability into sustainable economic growth.
“The government’s top priority is to provide relief to the common man and put the economy on the path of development,” he said adding, “Maximum relief has been provided to the salaried class in the budget.”
He expressed hope that tax concessions and other facilities for the business community in the budget will increase investment and promote economic activities.
Sustainable economic growth will create vast employment opportunities for the youth, he said adding reforms will continue to deliver the fruits of economic stability to the people.
Members of the National Assembly expressed full support for government initiatives for public welfare and economic development.
The meeting also discussed the issues of the constituencies of the members of the National Assembly.
