LAHORE, Mar 14 (APP): Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday commended the officers and personnel of the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) for carrying out a successful operation against militants in Shagai area of Lakki Marwat.
The prime minister praised professional capabilities of the CTD officials for eliminating six militants during the operation.
He said the successful action reflected commitment and preparedness of the law enforcement agencies in the fight against terrorism.
Shehbaz Sharif said the war against terrorism would continue until it was completely eradicated from the country. He added that officials of law enforcement agencies, including the CTD, were working day and night to cleanse the homeland of terrorists.
The prime minister said the entire nation was proud of the sacrifices and dedication of the security forces and law enforcement agencies.
