LAHORE, Dec 27 (APP): Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday expressed deep grief and sorrow over the sad demise of former governor of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Shamshad Akhtar.
The premier said that Shamshad Akhtar was distinguished economic expert of the country and a capable and honest personality.
He said that the deceased brought pride to country by serving in different national and international institutions.
The Prime Minister said that services of late Shamshad Akhtar would always be remembered for stabilizing country’s economy and improving financial sector.
Shehbaz Sharif prayed that may Allah Almighty grant the departed soul high place in paradise and give courage to the bereaved family members to bear this loss with fortitude.
