PM fetes Belarusian counterpart

ISLAMABAD, Nov 10 (APP): Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif
Tuesday hosted a luncheon in honour of the Prime Minister of Belarus
Andrey Kobyakov and members of his delegation here at the PM House.
The Prime Minister of Belarus is on a three-day visit, a first
by any Prime Minister from this East European country, to Pakistan.
Prime Minister Sharif welcomed Prime Minister Kobyakov and his
delegation and hoped the exchange of high level visits would further
augment their ties in the days ahead.
The visiting delegation was served with traditional local
dishes.
The Belarus delegation included Minister of Industry Vitaly
Vovk, Minister for Architecture and Construction Anatoly Cherny,
Minister for Agriculture and Food Leonid Zayats, Minister for
Education Mikhail Zhurakov, Deputy Foreign Minister Valentin Rybakov
and Belarus’ ambassador to Pakistan Andrei Ermolovich.
The Pakistani side included Minister for Defence Production
Rana Tanvir Hussain, Minister for National Food Security Sikandar
Hayat Bosan, PM’s Advisor on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz, State
Minister for Education Balighur Rehman, PM’s Special Assistant Tariq
Fatemi, Foreign Secretary Aizaz Chaudhry and Pakistan’s ambassador
to Belarus Masood Raja.
