PM felicitates successful PML-N candidates in second phase of AJK elections
ISLAMABAD, Aug 3 (APP): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday extended his congratulations to Muslim League (N) Quid Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and the successful candidates on the party’s lead in second phase of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly elections.
“I extend my heartfelt congratulation to all the successful candidates of Muslim League (N),” the prime minister said in a statement.
He said this continued success was the result of the hard work of Pakistan Muslim League (N) Quaid Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and the entire PML-N team.
“Under the leadership of the PML-N Quaid, the party’s team conducted a highly successful election campaign in Azad Jammu and Kashmir,” the prime minister added.
He said the victory of the Pakistan Muslim League (N) was evidence of the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir’s confidence in the party’s policies.
“The development and prosperity of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, along with the welfare and well-being of its people, remain among the foremost priorities of the PML-N,” the prime minister said and added that the active participation of political parties in the second phase of the Azad Kashmir elections will further strengthen the democratic process.
