PM directs timely completion of development projects in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD, Dec 23 (APP): Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday directed transparent and timely completion of development projects in the federal capital.

Chairing a meeting on CDA Affairs here at the PM House, the Prime Minister said slow pace of development was not acceptable. He said there should be complete transparency in execution of projects without compromising the quality of work.

Minister of State for Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) Tariq Fazl Chaudhary and Chairman CDA attended the meeting that reviewed progress on Prime Minister’s Packages of Development Projects.

The projects include re-carpeting of roads, lane-marking and repair of foot paths, repair of drainage systems, road signage, LED lights and city sewerage.

The Prime Minister was briefed about the development of Residential Sectors; including D-12, C-15, Park Enclave 1, Park Enclave 2, E-12, I-15 and I-12.

The Prime Minister was also informed that the facilitation centre was near completion.

The Prime Minister also reviewed execution of Islamabad Expressway, rehabilitation of IJP road and dualization of Embassy Road.
