ISLAMABAD, Aug 30 (APP): Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif Sunday said he was deeply saddened by the tragic capsizing of a passenger ship in the Mediterranean Sea.
In a post on X, he said, “I extend my heartfelt condolences to my dear brother President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Turkish government and the bereaved families.”
“We pray for the swift and safe recovery of those still missing and commend the courageous search and rescue efforts underway. The people of Pakistan stand in solidarity with the brotherly people of Türkiye at this difficult time,” he added.
