PM congratulates Poland’s Karol Nawrocki on winning presidential election

ISLAMABAD, Jun 4 (APP): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday congratulated Karol Nawrocki on his victory in the presidential elections in Poland.

“Congratulations to H.E. Mr. Karol Nawrocki on his victory in the Presidential elections in Poland,” the prime minister wrote on his X timeline.

He wished the President-elect Nawrocki success in building a bright future for his country.

The prime minister said that he looked forward to working with him to strengthen Pakistan-Poland ties in the days ahead.

The right-wing historian Karol Nawrocki was elected after obtaining 50.9% percent of the votes – ahead of Warsaw’s mayor Rafal Trzaskowski on 49.1% percent.
