LAHORE, Jan 04 (APP):Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday expressed deep grief and sorrow over the demise of renowned opthalmologist Dr Pramila Lall.
The prime minister extended his condolences to the family of the late doctor.
He said, “Dr Pramila Lall has played an important role in providing affordable eye treatment to millions of patients during her seventy-year career.”
In recognition of her services, she had also been awarded the ‘Sitara-i-Imtiaz’ by the government, the prime minister added.
Services of Dr Pramila Lall for the poor in the field of ophthalmology would always be remembered, he maintained.
