PM condoles death of brother of senior journalist Iftikhar Ahmad

ISLAMABAD, Jun 25 (APP):Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Agha Iqbal Ahmad Khan, brother of senior journalist Iftikhar Ahmad.

The prime minister telephoned Iftikhar Ahmad and extended his heartfelt condolences. He also prayed for the elevation of the departed soul’s ranks in Jannah.

“May Allah Almighty grant the deceased a place in Jannat-ul-Firdous. Ameen,” the prime minister said, according to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also expressed profound grief over the death of the mother of Federal Secretary Ali Murtaza. Extending his condolences to the bereaved family, he prayed for the departed soul’s forgiveness and elevated status in Jannah.
