PM announces national award for Pakistani national martyred tackling Christchurch mosque attacker
ISLAMABAD, Mar 17 (APP):Prime Minister Imran Khan Sunday said Pakistan was proud of its citizen Mian Naeem Rashid who martyred trying to tackle the attacker at mosques in New Zealand city of Christchurch.
In a tweet, the prime minister also announced a national award for the citizen.
“Pakistan is proud of Mian Naeem Rashid who was martyred trying to tackle the White Supremacist terrorist and his courage will be recognized with a national award”, he said.
He said the government stood ready to extend all its support to the families of Pakistani victims of the terrorist attack in Christchurch.
