ISLAMABAD, Feb 22 (APP): State Minister for Capital Administration and Development Division (CAAD) Tariq Fazl Chaudhary Monday informed the National Assembly that a plan was afoot to supply water from Ghazi Barotha to Islamabad to meet water requirement of the federal capital for next 25 years. Replying to a Calling Attention Notice raised by Asiya Naz Tanoli and Night Parveen Mir regarding sub-standard functioning and inadequate maintenance of water filtration plants installed in Islamabad resulting in spread of several diseases, the project would cost around Rs 60 to 70 billion.
