ISLAMABAD, Oct 24 (APP):Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Wednesday said fire at Press Information Department (PID) has been doused with timely action.
Talking to media persons here, he said as per reports the record of the PID was safe and thankfully, no human life loss was caused by the fire.
He said digitalization of PID record was being done. He said a committee had been constituted for investigation of the incident.
He said obsolete system and maintenance was the reason behind such incidents.
The minister said tens of millions of rupees were being spent on the payment of building rent which was ample proof of bad governance in the past.
