PIBC hails PM's offer for talks

LAHORE, Oct 16 (APP): The Pak India Business Council (PIBC) on Sunday hailed Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif’s statement that `Pakistan is ready for talks if India is serious on it’.
India should reciprocate the offer in a positive way, Chairman PIBC Noor Muhammad Kasuri said this talking to APP here.
He said dialogue was an only way to move ahead and find solutions of the issues faced by two neighbours.
He said Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif had throughout been committed for resolving issues with India in a peaceful manner.
The PIBC chairman said talking about peace was sensible and necessary to find out solutions in a gradual way while `not talking’ was dangerous.
He said “Indian government is working to improve relations with various other countries of the world to improve economy, for this purpose they are willing to give some concessions, benefits and incentives”.
He said Pakistan was a most important neighbour of India and they should consider resolving their issues with Pakistan in a same spirit as they were showing for other countries.
Kasuri said by resolving differences through meaningful dialogues both the countries could divert their resources for poverty alleviation and socio-economic uplift of their people.
