ISLAMABAD, Nov 06 (APP):Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has launched an aircraft cabin cleanliness drive as part of its efforts to improve operational standards and passenger services.
The drive was launched simultaneously in Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi, where PIA evaluation teams inspected aircraft cabins.
According to a press release issued on Friday, a ceremony was also held at the PIA office in Islamabad to recognise employees for their efforts and performance.
PIA Chief Executive Officer Adrian Hamilton-Manns said aircraft cleanliness was extremely important and maintaining the airline’s brand at the highest standards was essential.
He said keeping aircraft in the best possible condition remained a top priority for the airline.
Employees who had played a prominent role in maintaining cleanliness were presented with shields and certificates. Cash awards were also given in recognition of their performance.
PIA said the initiative was part of its broader efforts to improve all aspects of airline operations and achieve higher service standards.
