ISLAMABAD, Feb 03 (APP):Former federal minister Shireen Mazari on Tuesday filed a petition to Islamabad High Court (IHC) seeking a meeting with her daughter, Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chatha, and provision of better facilities in jail to them.
The petition is moved through lawyers Kamran Murtaza, Raja Aleem Abbasi and Manzoor Jaja, among others, in which the Federation, Interior Secretary, IG Islamabad and Superintendent Adiala Jail were made parties and the position was taken that it was the day of the visit, despite going to Adiala Jail, the petitioner was not allowed to meet.
It said that the refusal to allow lawyers and family members to meet is illegal. The petition has requested that the petitioner be allowed to meet her daughter and son-in-law as per the law, the authorities be directed to allow Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chatha to meet twice a week.
One day be allocated for meeting lawyers and one day for meeting family.
Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chatha should be kept in a better class in jail and be provided with better facilities.
