Pervaiz Rashid lays 2 ordinances in Senate

ISLAMABAD Nov 3 (APP): As many as two ordinances including the Foreigners (Amendment) Ordinance, 2015 and the National Database and Registration Authority (Amendment) Ordinance, 2015 were laid in Senate on Tuesday.

Minister for Law, Justice and Human Rights Pervaiz Rashid laid both the Ordinances in the House under clause (2) of Article 89 of the Constitution.

Meanwhile, Chairman Standing Committee on Law, Justice and Human Rights Muhammad Javed Abbasi presented the report of the committee on the bill; ‘the Islamabad Subordinate Judiciary Service Tribunal Bill, 2015] in the Senate.’

Senator Taj Haider presented reports of Standing Committee on Industries and Production on behalf of its Chairman regarding charging of extra amount at the time of delivery of Toyota vehicle by the Indus Motor Company and audit of accounts of Pakistan Steel Mills during the last five financial years.

Moreover, speaking on a Calling Attention Notice Azam Khan Swati claimed that local banks hold foreign funds for 21 days after transfer of funds and said, it was a illegal.

The Senate Chairman directed to send the voice transcript to the ministry of Finance, Revenue and Economic Affairs and submit reply to the House Wednesday.
