ISLAMABAD, Nov 6 (APP): Senior leader of Pakistan Muslim
League-Quaid (PML-Q) Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi Friday urged all the
political parties to elect Sardar Ayaz Sadiq unanimously for the
slot of Speaker National Assembly.
Talking to mediapersons outside the Parliament House, he said
he would contact and convince other parties to vote for Sardar
Ayaz Sadiq.
“Unopposed election of Speaker National Assembly will further
strengthen the democratic norms and supremacy of the Parliament,”
Pervaiz Elahi added.
The former chief minister Punjab welcomed the Muttahida Quami
Movement (MQM) Members National Assembly for withdrawing their
resignation.
