Performance must for staying in PM Imran’s cabinet team

ISLAMABAD, Apr 22 (APP):Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting, Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan on Monday said performance was must to stay in Prime Minister Imran Khan’s cabinet team who was running the affairs of government of Pakistan with dedication.
Talking to a private news channel programme, she stated that Prime Minister Imran Khan, following the constitutional rights, could retain or change any minister on the basis of performance. Without delivery to masses, she added that no minister could sustain as a cabinet member.
Commenting on the governance of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leaders, she said they were not capable enough as the situation in health and education sector there was in front of everyone.
She said Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was not serious in the political affairs of the country.
About changing the cabinet members, she said Imran Khan as the chief executive of Pakistan himself was looking after the performance of the ministers.
Reminding the PPP leaders of their past reshufflings in the cabinet, she said the PPP had itself changed the cabinet members while running the government in the past.
She added that a technocrat finance minister was introduced during the regime of General (Retd), Pervaiz Musharraf as well.
