Penumbral moon eclipse on Sept 16 17, to be visible in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD, Sep 14 (APP): A penumbral eclipse of moon will be visible in all regions of Pakistan on the night of September 16.

It will also be visible from Africa, Asia, Australia, West Pacific Island and in Europe, Met Office reported.

The eclipse will begin at 21:55 PST (Pakistan Standard Time) on September 16 while the ‘Greatest Eclipse’ will start at 23:55 PST and end at 01:54 PST on September 17.

The penumbral magnitude of the eclipse is 0.9080 and umbral magnitude is 0.0635.

However, sky is expected to be clear in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Upper Punjab, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Sind, South Punjab and Balochistan.
