ISLAMABAD, Feb 04 (APP): The Pasban-e-Watan Welfare Foundation organized a dignified ceremony on Kashmir Solidarity Day to reaffirm support for the Kashmiri people.
The event drew a large gathering of political and social leaders and workers, including Mushaal Hussain Mullick, wife of Hurriyat leader Yasin Malik; Abdul Hameed Lone, Vice President of Friends of Kashmir; Shehzad Dilawar, President of Pasban-e-Watan; Raja Khalid Minhas, General Secretary; senior vice presidents Ghulam Ali Khan and Hakeem Mehmood Saharanpuri; patrons Raja Basit Miskeen, Abdul Razaq Bhatti, Sardar Naseem Anjum and Chaudhry Majeed; Vice President Chaudhry Niaz; along with Shavez and Hasnain Chaudhry.

Speakers noted that the people of Kashmir have endured decades of Indian atrocities and oppression, yet continue to demonstrate resilience. They affirmed that Pakistan stands united with its Kashmiri brethren in their struggle for freedom and pledged continued moral, diplomatic and political support at all levels.
Addressing the ceremony, Mushaal Hussain Mullick said the people of Kashmir were writing a saga of sacrifices and urged the international community to take cognizance of grave human rights violations in occupied Kashmir. She added that Yasin Malik and other Hurriyat leaders continued to face imprisonment, but stressed that the freedom movement could not be suppressed.

Abdul Hameed Lone reiterated that the Kashmiri people would persist in their struggle until achieving the right to self-determination. He emphasized that Pakistan has consistently stood by the Kashmiri cause, a bond rooted in faith, history and shared sacrifices.
Other speakers paid tribute to the Kashmiri martyrs and reaffirmed their resolve that the struggle for freedom would continue until its rightful conclusion. The ceremony concluded with special prayers for the martyrs and the cause of Kashmir’s independence.
