ISLAMABAD, Jun 23 (APP):Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Leader and Senate Standing Committee on Information and Broadcasting Chairman Senator Faisal Javed Tuesday said the party was united under the dynamic leadership of the prime minister and nobody had his personal vote bank rather he had been voted for the revolutionary political ideology of Imran Khan.
He was responding to a query about the recent controversial statement made by Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry during an exclusive talk with a private news channel.
He said the nation was standing by Prime Minister Imran Khan who had the potential to tackle all kind of challenges accordingly.
Senator Faisal Javed said differences within party over petty issues was a routine matter which could amicably be resolved through debate within the party or by taking up the issue before the leadership.
He said the PTI was a democratic party and 70 percent youth associated with it was its real power. Expressing the hope, he said, it would take the country to the new horizons of development and prosperity under the able leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
To a question, he said the poor class was disappointed even in the developed countries, particularly after COVID-19 outbreak but the world acknowledged the charismatic and visionary leadership of Pakistan who had made wise decisions to cope with the crisis.
To another question, he called Fawad Chaudhry as his brother and said only party had the right to decide his fate.
He said debates were sometimes based on assumptions but media was formally briefed about the cabinet meetings by the information minister only.
