Pakistani community in UAE observers Kashmir Black Day

ISLAMABAD, July 26 (APP): A ceremony was held at the
Embassy of Pakistan in Abu Dhabi, UAE, on Tuesday to express solidarity with the Kashmiri people and to protest against the atrocities committed by Indian forces in the Indian occupied Kashmir.

A large number of Pakistani-Kashmiri community in the
UAE assembled in the premises of the Embassy, to show solidarity with their Kashmiri brethren and to condemn the human rights violations committed by India.

All officers wore Black Arm Bands to mark the protest day, a message  received here from Abu Dhabi said.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Faisal Aziz, Charge d’Affaire lauded the  Kashmiri people’s valiant struggle for self-determination.

He highlighted the salience of the Kashmir dispute in the context of  the recent developments in the Kashmir valley and the need to resolve the longstanding issue in line with the UNSC resolution and wishes and aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

At the conclusion of ceremony, a special dua was held for the people  of Kashmir.
