Pakistani civil servant Zile Huma honoured among  ’50 Leading Lights of Asia Pacific’ 2025 for her vast contributions

ISLAMABAD, Nov 13 (APP):Pakistani civil servant Zile Huma has been named among “Kindness and Leadership: 50 Leading Lights of Asia Pacific 2025”, a recognition by ‘Women of the Future’ announced on World Kindness Day, celebrated globally on November 13.
Huma has made significant contributions in the areas of climate change, human rights, and higher education during her twelve -year public service career, said a press release on Thursday.
“Previously, she has been recognized for her volunteer work to develop World First Oxford COVID-19 Tracker along students and researchers of University of Oxford ,UK during the pandemic.
Her efforts have previously earned her numerous national and international accolades, including the Climate Excellence Award 2025, Achievement Award 2025, Integrity Icon Award 2021, and Agahi Award 2018.
She has also been shortlisted for the British Council UK Alumni Award 2024 and the UK Postgraduate Award 2020,” it added.
“A Chevening Scholar and graduate of the University of Oxford with a Master’s in Public Policy,  Huma continues to champion inclusive and sustainable development through policy innovation and leadership grounded in empathy,” it noted.
The Kindness and Leadership: 50 Leading Lights campaign was launched in 2018 by Women of the Future to celebrate leaders who demonstrate that kindness is a transformative force in business, the economy, and society.
The initiative promotes a new model of leadership that values compassion and collaboration.
It is supported by the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford (UK), the Financial Times, and Asia Square.
