Pakistan want to strengthen economic ties with Bulgaria: Sadiq

ISLAMABAD, Jan 19 (APP): National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq on Tuesday said that Pakistan wanted to strengthen its existing relations with Bulgaria through
enhanced economic and parliamentary coordination.
He was talking to Ambassador designate to Bulgaria  A S Babar Hashmi, who called on him here. Ayaz Sadiq said there was a great potential in trade and commerce sectors for both the countries to avail investment opportunities. Pakistan desired to broaden the existing cooperation in diverse fields, including trade, cultural and business areas,
he added.  He underlined the need to increase interaction between business and trade communities of both the countries to enhance economic cooperation.
Sardar Ayaz Sadiq applauded Hashmi’s diplomatic services rendered in Pakistan Foreign Service by building better relations with various countries.
He asked him to utilize his diplomatic expertise to further improve the relations with Bulgaria by presenting a favourable image of Pakistan to secure trade
and investment in Pakistan.
A S Babar Hashmi expressed his gratitude to the Speaker for kind words and assured to make all out efforts  to further strengthen the relations between both the countries.
