Pakistan, Turkiye reaffirm solidarity with Palestine; call for urgent aid

JEDDAH, Aug 26 (APP): Pakistan and Turkiye on Tuesday noting the worsening humanitarian crisis and famine, reaffirmed their firm solidarity with Palestine and stressed the urgent need for humanitarian aid and relief.

The matter was discussed as Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar met with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan here on sidelines of 21st extraordinary session of the Council of Foreign Minister of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation.

The deputy prime minister expressed his deep appreciation to Türkiye for its leadership role in the capacity of the Chair of the 51st OIC Council of Foreign Ministers.

Both leaders also reaffirmed the brotherly Pakistan-Türkiye relations, and looked forward to further strengthening the bilateral multifaceted cooperation.
