ISLAMABAD, Aug 29 (APP): President Mamnoon Hussain Monday reiterated that Pakistan would continue to highlighting the Kashmir issue and atrocities being committed by Indian security forces against innocent Kashmiris at international level.
Talking to President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Muhammad Masood Khan who called on him at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, the President said Pakistan would also keep up highlighting just struggle of Kashmiri people to attain self-determination in accordance with the UN Security Council Resolutions.
Felicitating Muhammad Masood Khan on being elected as AJK President, Mamnoon Hussain expressed his satisfaction at the successful holding of recent election in AJK and smooth transition of power to the next elected government.
He hoped that the newly elected President AJK would utilize his vast experience and abilities to serve the people besides highlighting the Kashmir issue.
The President wished the newly elected President AJK well in discharge of his new responsibilities.
Masood Khan apprised President Mamnoon Hussain about the overall prevalent situation and thanked him for taking keen interest in the affairs of the AJK.
