ISLAMABAD, Oct 13 (APP): National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) on Monday coordinated the dispatch of Alkhidmat Foundation’s 100 tons of relief consignment through chartered flight from Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore, to Gaza through Egypt.
The relief consignment included flour, rice, sweet corns, chickpeas, ready-to-eat meals, cooking oil, and fruit cocktails.
This shipment marks Pakistan’s 24th humanitarian aid consignment to Gaza, bringing the total relief sent to 2,327 tons, in accordance with the Prime Minister’s directive.
A send-off ceremony was held at the airport, attended by officials from NDMA, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), and representatives of Alkhidmat Foundation.
