Pakistan Post prints 6.83m commemorative stamps from 2024-26

ISLAMABAD, Sep 22 (APP):Pakistan Post printed 6.83 million commemorative stamps and 220,000 souvenir sheets from 2024 to 2026, issuing 54 stamps and 19 souvenir sheets under its annual commemorative programme to highlight national days, prominent personalities, cultural and natural heritage, social awareness and Pakistan’s international and diplomatic ties.

According to documents available with Wealth Pakistan, Pakistan Post issued 54 commemorative stamps during the three years, including 13 in 2024, 27 in 2025 and 14 in 2026.

The postal service printed 2.3 million commemorative stamps in 2024, 3.5 million in 2025 and 1.03 million in 2026, bringing the total to 6.83 million.

It also issued 19 souvenir sheets during the period, comprising six in 2024, 10 in 2025 and three in 2026.

In terms of printing volume, Pakistan Post produced 85,000 souvenir sheets in 2024, 105,000 in 2025 and 30,000 in 2026, taking the three-year total to 220,000.

The commemorative programme covered seven broad themes: national days, eminent personalities, cultural heritage, natural heritage, international relations, social awareness and diplomatic relations.

According to Pakistan Post, the annual programme is intended to reinforce its role as a custodian of national heritage while using postage as a means of promoting national integration, public awareness and international postal diplomacy.

The figures show that 2025 was the busiest year during the period, with 27 commemorative stamps issued and 3.5 million stamps printed. It also recorded the highest number of souvenir sheets issued, at 10, and the largest souvenir-sheet printing volume, at 105,000.
