ISLAMABAD, Dec 17 (APP):Pakistan Post Express Mail Service (EMS) Plus, a specialized service for the export sector, aiming at delivering parcels at major overseas destinations in 72 hours, with real time track and trace facilities.
He said that the service was available in major cities and links the country with 173 countries worldwide, an official of Pakistan Post told APP on Tuesday.
He said that the maximum permissible weight limit of an Export EMS Plus article is 30 kilograms.
“In order to harness the opportunities that are emerging from the market and thus to enhance the quality of service, Pakistan Post had launched this service for export sector companies (Small & Medium Enterprises) and fast, reliable and economical transmission of documents for students,” he said.
He said that EMS Plus was a new product that was time sensitive and offers end to end tracking facility to the esteemed customers.
“It is fast yet very economical even as compared to our own EMS not to speak of the charges of private couriers” he said.
He said that it was highly reliable and secure, but in case of loss compensation was guaranteed up to US $100.
He said that Pakistan Post was working with an objective to provide every household and business across the country with the ability to communicate and conduct business with each other and the world efficiently and economically.
“Pakistan Post Office provides an extensive range of products and services to cater for both the personal and business needs of various segments of society”, he said.
