Talking to APP, the PML N- AJK leader said the continuation of dialogue reflects a positive development with potential implications for Middle East stability and global energy markets.
He said the second phase of negotiations would be crucial in determining whether both sides could move towards practical outcomes through compromise and confidence-building measures.
Wasi said Pakistan, owing to its strategic location and balanced foreign policy, was well-positioned to play a constructive role in promoting dialogue and regional stability.
He said Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar were actively engaged in strengthening diplomatic outreach and rebuilding international confidence.
He added that the leadership of Army Chief General Asim Munir had ensured internal stability, reinforcing Pakistan’s credibility at the global level.
He noted that while challenges and competing regional interests persist, sustained dialogue remains key to de-escalation, adding that Pakistan could leverage the situation to enhance economic and diplomatic engagement.
